Hello, Namaste, and Tashi Delek from India.
I am so very excited to write this blog as my days left in India are very few but wonderful progress has been made towards the PHASE II development of the People feeding People Outreach.
The Tibetan Organic Farmers and Indian families involved in the program have taken great interest in advancing the project and show motivation to get the ball rolling. Thank you to all who have made this possible we have our first constructed Hoop House with plans in place to build the second. A young farmer, Dakpa, and the Tibetan Organic Agriculture Officers took initiative this past week to construct a 13′ by 30′ shade cover hoop house. Take a look.
More details to come with information as to the type of vegetables planned for the Tibetan Organic Vegetable Nursery, and local organic food network. Also I will soon post details and photos of the sack garden demonstration with the Indian families and their excitement to work towards self reliance and food security.
Thank you to everyone for your support with the project. This is only made possible through your compassionate giving and interest in serving others with dignity.
If you or anyone is interested in more details of this project you can email me at pennieforpartnerships@gmail.com
Also, thanks to the Tibetan Cultural Institute of Arkansas for their continued support in the People Feeding People Outreach.
Kind regards,
Leann Halsey

Hoop house gardening is a thing of beauty, as are the faces of the people and you! Very proud to see the progress of the people and the work of PFP charity continuing in India now. Keep up the good work and safe travels. See you soon.
